Top 5 Food Delivery Services iOS Apps in Kenya Q1 2023

The first quarter of 2023 saw varying trends in the performance of the top 5 food delivery apps on iOS in Kenya. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Glovo: Food Delivery and more had a consistent download rate, starting at 860 downloads in the last week of December and gradually declining to 688 downloads by the end of March. Active users also showed a downward trend, beginning with 9.6K users and dropping to 8.4K users over the quarter.

Bolt Food experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads. The app started Q1 with 520 downloads, peaked at 683 downloads in mid-February, and concluded the quarter with 404 downloads. Active users showed an upward trend initially, peaking at 6.6K users in late February, and then stabilizing around 6K users towards the end of March.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter, starting at 424 downloads and ending at 353 downloads. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained around 5.3K users on average, peaking at 5.6K in early February.

Jumia Food - Food delivery had a modest download rate, starting at 323 downloads and ending at 197 downloads. Active users also saw a decline, beginning with 4.1K users and decreasing to 3.4K users by the end of March.
